CW's 'The Flash' aired on the 7th of October 2014 and is in its 4th season now. The Flash show follows the story of Barry Allen, At 11 years old, Barry's life changed forever when his mother died in a mysterious accident and his innocent father was convicted for her murder. Barry was then raised by Detective Joe west and eventually became a crime-scene investigator, in his dedication to learn the truth about his mothers death.

Barry's obsession to discover through anyway possible to the reason on his mothers death leads him to the creation of a particle accelerator by Dr. Harrison Wells. An accident during its maiden activation causes an explosion and freak storms where Barrys is struck in his lab. He wakes from a coma nine months later with the ability of superspeed. When he learns that others who have gained powers use them for evil, he dedicates himself to protecting the innocent, while still trying to solve the older mystery.
