Reaching the inner cave for the final showdown with IT, the losers prepare the weapons they once used 30 years ago to drive it back. Upon entry, however, they find Audra catatonic and the familiar visage of Tim Curry clown replaced with a horrific arachnid creature.

 As 3 of the losers club are hypnotized by the eldritch deadlights, Beverly fires the imaginarily enhanced silver bolts, missing initially but landing the remaining bolt. Meanwhile, Eddie fires his inhaler with the belief that it contained bug spray but IT retaliates, biting off Eddie's arm, leaving him to die. Enrage, the losers club assaults IT with their bare hands, tearing out its heart and crushing it.

In the aftermath, the losers club disbands once more, separating to lead successful lives and leaving their past of IT at Derry behind. Finally, Audra is shown riding on the back of Bill's bike Silver, slowly but surely, exiting her catatonic state and finally awakening in the middle of an intersection, kissing Bill to end the miniseries.
